Be honest

Listings must accurately describe a real room, back room, or garden cottage you have the right to rent out.

Keep chat on Gidla

Renters and advertisers must communicate through in-app messaging. Sharing contact details (phone, email, social) in listings or messages — or urging the other party to contact you off-platform — violates these terms and can get your account suspended.

Reports & moderation

If enough users flag a listing or message, we'll hide it automatically and review it. Admins can suspend listings or users for abuse, scams, or duplicate posts.

Paid promotions

Featured and Premium promotions run for the stated duration from when PayFast confirms payment. Payments are in ZAR. Refunds are handled case-by-case; contact us within 24 hours if your promotion didn't activate.

Liability

Gidla is a listings platform. We're not a party to any rental agreement between users and don't verify identity, affordability, or the condition of properties. Take usual precautions.
